Dilma's campaign 2010: "On Thirty-first vote for Thirteen"
"On Thirty-first vote for thirteen" was the propaganda slogan that has marked the second part of the political campaign in Brazil. It was voted on October 31st, and 13 was the number of candidate Dilma Rousseff, political heir of President Lula and personally chosen by him. Never a president had sided in such a clear way for a candidate, so that for a time it was beleived that Rousseff could win in the first round. Actually she reached the second round of balloting, but at the end the Brazilian voters have chosen for continuity, rewarding the policy with which President Lula has changed the country in last eight years. Dilma Rousseff becomes, in that way, the first female president in the history of the Brazilian republic.
